VW diesel, talking about in their auto line? I bought a used diesel Jetta a few years back. Cheapest ride I ever had. Sold it about 3 years after buying it for about $300 less than paid for it, put about $600 into it with tires and glow plugs. It was a champ at an honest 45 mpg. 0 to 20 in about 2.5 minutes with 4 adults and a/c on. Great on the open road. ....
